Wood Blocks 01 Project Tutorial
The above children’s blocks template can be changed to any TEXT of up to 11 letters.
It is recommended that a new project be created and the “Wood Block 01 Project.aep” project be imported into that new project. This keeps the original project untouched.
Step 1. Open “LETTERS (change letters here)” composition.
Double-click on the corresponding letter in the timeline to change the letter. Each letter must be changed individually. For spaces, toggle the visibility icon to hide the letter. In the final composition, icons will replace spaces automatically. These icons are predetermined (apple, rocking horse, flower, star, elephant, or a car) but can be customized with a more advanced tutorial included with the download.
Step 2. Choose the composition size that you want to export. Options are 1080P, 720P, and 480P.
Step 3. Render your composition.

This is a simple animation of falling children’s blocks with the camera starting at a close shot and then pulling back to show the entire image. Each block contains a letter or icon, fully customizable by the user in After Effects CS5, that moves as seamlessly as a fixed image on the block.
When you download and customize this template, it will look as though it has been rendered entirely in a 3D program.
